Displaying records in sorted order on a form


Create a query over the table that holds the data wou want sorted. Select the field you want to sort by and select either Ascending or Descending as appropriate. If you need to sort on more than one field then drag the columns around so that they are displayed from left to right. The left most column is sorted first and so on. Save the query

Now you will have to go into the form and scroll to the bottoom where you will find a grey area -
Right click on this to display the Form's properties.
Select the Data-tab and change the Record Source, by clicking on the three small dots on the right of the field.

You will be given a choice of selecting from a table or from a query, Select the appropriate query for the form.
